On February Milo Adventist Academy hosted a Career Day designed to give students practical exposure to a variety of professions. Classrooms across campus were each assigned a different career, and students signed up in advance for the sessions that interested them most. Throughout the morning, they rotated between presentations and had the opportunity to ask questions and learn directly from professionals about education requirements, daily responsibilities, and the rewards and challenges of each field.

This year’s presenters represented a wide range of careers, including nursing, EMT services, counseling, cosmetology, orthodontics, medicine, military service, engineering, event planning, automotive mechanics, teaching, and writing/life coaching. The event encouraged students to begin thinking about their future goals and how their interests and abilities can be used in meaningful ways. We are grateful to each guest who invested their time to share their experiences and inspire our students.
